PJ launches PS Bigirimana's 'A Small Book of Big Quotes'

The Principal Judge, Hon. Justice Dr Flavian Zeija, has called for the need to celebrate local writers, because they have a profound impact on literacy rates and the love for reading within our communities.

This he said as he launched Dr Pius Bigirimana's new book, 'A Small Book with Big Quotes'

"Today as we celebrate the launch of Dr Bigirimana's book, we not only honor his exceptional talent but also recognize the broader significance in valuing and quoting our local authors," he said. Adding that their voices are essential threads in the tapestry of global literature and they deserve to be heard and acknowledged. 

He urged them to desist quoting foreigners since local writers understand communities better and are able to embrace people's voices in the society properly.

"We should always quote our local writers because they understand our communities and embrace our voices in the society", he explained.

Relating this to Dr Bigirimana' s books, the Principal Judge noted that the topics addressed in the publications are diverse on issues such as power, mindset and corruption which are narratives that resonate in the typical society setting.

Dr Bigirimana said that each of his six books represents a chapter in his life, are flection of his desire to contribute to the society and inspire them to take action and ignite a desire for positive change urged them to always write down.

He revealed that this time around, he decided to use quotes to deliver his messages, a reflection of his desire to contribute to the society and inspire them to take action as well as ignite a desire for positive change.

He further applauded the Editor, Mr Nabimanya Ronald, for the job well done in helping him do research with big volumes of work, saying that his journey hasbeen one of discovery and relentless pursuit of truth.

The book editor described Dr Bigirimana as an absolute joy to work with due to his passion for truth and authenticity. He noted that each of his books carries a positive change and it embodies a spirit of collaboration.

"His willingness to engage in dialogue makes him a harmonious and productive person...the book is a compilation of Bigirimana 's wisdom, his ability, achievements and vision". 

Dr Bigirimana has authored seven books. These are; Abundance Mentality, Unchained; Public Servant with a Private Mindset, Corona Chronicles, Tears to Cheers, Naken Truth, and A small book with big quotes. need for celebrating local writers, because it has a profound impact on literacy rates and the love for reading within our communities.
